Top Houston Chiropractor Receives Grant
Dr. Charles Campbell is owner and operator of the Campbell Chiropractic Clinic. He has performed more than 46,000 spinal adjustments and has been awarded the honor of being one of the “Best Chiropractors in Houston.”
Dr. Campbell lost both his house and business in the floods. He and his wife were both staying at a friend’s house when we met them.
Their house was deemed inhabitable due to the damage and mold. They were rescued by boat in waist deep water on the day of the flood.
The doctor’s business was not covered by flood insurance. His entire office had to be torn down and rebuilt. He received no support from his landlord, but was still expected to pay rent.
Everything in his office had to replaced, from office supplies to adjusting tables and furniture. Dr. Campbell continued to pay his employees out of pocket even when he could not afford it because it was the right thing to do.
This was exactly the kind of person that the Singal Foundation and its partners sought out to help. We were glad that we could give him a grant of $10,000 to rebuild his business and life.
