Roshni does a project with her Dad on Father’s Day
Roshini joined the ARC school in 2015 when she was just 3 years old. The ARC schools serve children from disadvantaged groups living in the slum community of India. Roshni’s teachers say she is one of the most creative children in class.
She loves her art and crafts class and is happiest when she can dance. She has formed a very close bond with a few girls from her class and spends a lot of time with them. It is amazing to see the friendship of these little one’s blossom and grow.
Last year, Roshni accidentally dropped hot milk on herself and sadly ended up with some minor burn injuries. The doctor recommended that she take a few days leave from school to rest and recover at home.
However, by day 3 much to the surprise of her teachers, Roshni was back in school. Her father said, ‘Roshni has been crying at home and insists if we take her to school she will get better.” It is truly incredible to see how much the kids look forward to coming to school. We have heard similar stories from many parents of ARC school.
When Roshni was asked what her dream was, without hesitation she said she wants to become a doctor. We are so happy to see how the school has given Roshni the ability to dream big and believe that nothing is impossible.
